What you are actually booking

Reading the room

A full dance floor is not luck.

You already know that, which is why you are hiring a DJ. I am an expert in open format, with experience in club and corporate settings, and I will work with you to tailor the songs for your event.

One person runs your whole night, in English and Spanish, with backup gear already on site.

Travel

The areas below carry no travel fee at all. They are not the limit of where we work.

No travel fee

Jacksonville, the Beaches, Ponte Vedra, St. Augustine, Yulee, Amelia Island and the rest of Northeast Florida.

Further afield

We travel outside that area too, anywhere in the US. Travel is quoted in writing before you book, so it is still never a surprise on the invoice.

The guarantee

About our policies

Six things we hold ourselves to, in writing, on every event.

  1. The number you are quoted is the number you pay.

No travel fee. No setup fee. No surprise overtime charge on the invoice after the fact.

  2. Your rate is locked at booking.

If prices go up before your date, yours does not.

  3. Backup equipment is on site at every event.

Not in a warehouse. Not thirty minutes away. In the room, always.

  4. Formal attire at no additional cost.

We dress for your event. That is not an upgrade.

  5. No banners, no business cards, no self-promotion.

Nothing on the tables, nothing on the booth, no pitching your guests. It is your event, not an advertisement.

  6. Your guest list and details are never shared or sold.

Your timeline, your contacts and your guest list are not marketing data and are never used as any.

These are in the contract you sign, not just on this page.

Fit

We are not for everybody.

Read the right column properly. If you are in it, we would rather you find that out now than three emails from now.

This is a good fit if

  • You want a floor that stays packed, not background music that nobody dances to.
  • You want one price with nothing hidden behind it, and you would rather see the number than fill out a form to get it.
  • You want an MC who can work in English, Spanish, or both, without it sounding rehearsed.
  • You want a DJ who will actually get on a call with your planner and your photographer before the day.
  • You want open-format mixing, meaning the night moves between genres and eras instead of sitting in one lane.

This is not the right fit if

  • You want background music only, with no MC and no announcements. That is a real thing to want, and it is not what we do.
  • You need a DJ under $800. We are not going to talk you into stretching, and there are people in this market at that number.
  • You want one genre played exclusively all night. A locked single-genre set is a request we will turn down rather than do badly.
  • You want the cheapest quote and plan to negotiate it down. The price is the price, so there is nothing to negotiate.

How booking works

Four steps.

No discovery funnel, no three-tier proposal deck. 30% holds the date and locks your rate.

  1. STEP 01

    Check your date

Send the date and the event type. You get a straight yes or no on availability, plus the all-in number for what you described.

  2. STEP 02

    A 20 minute call

Video or phone. We go through the venue, the run of show, the languages on the mic and anything you are worried about. No pitch deck.

  3. STEP 03

Sign and pay 30% to hold the date

Contract in plain language, deposit online. The date comes off the calendar the moment it clears, and your rate is locked from that point.

  4. STEP 04

    Build the timeline together

In the planning portal, at your pace. Must-plays, do-not-plays, introductions, and the minute-by-minute. We take it to your venue and planner ourselves.

The setup

not just quality mixing

What arrives with us.

A beautiful, professional setup. High quality speakers and microphones, placed to the room rather than to a diagram.

Backup gear too, because emergencies always happen. What sets me apart is being prepared for them.

FAQ

The real questions.

Including the ones other vendors would rather answer on a call, where the number can move.

How much does a wedding DJ cost in Jacksonville?

Most of this market sits between $900 and $2,200 once the add-ons are counted. Our packages are $900 for reception-only, $1,400 for ceremony through last dance, and $2,000 with lighting included. Those are all-in numbers, not starting points.

Do you charge a travel fee?

No. Anywhere in Northeast Florida is included in the price on this page, whether that is five minutes away or Amelia Island. Outside that region we travel anywhere in the US, and travel is agreed in writing before you book so it is still never a surprise.

Do you MC as well as DJ?

Yes, and it is the same person doing both. You are not paying separately for an MC. Introductions, transitions and the run of show are worked out with you and your planner before the day, not improvised on the night.

Can we pick the music?

Yes. You give us a must-play list and a do-not-play list, and both are honored exactly. What we ask for is the room in between, because reading a floor in real time is the actual skill you are hiring. If you want a fully locked set list with no live decisions, say so up front and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.

What happens if your equipment fails?

Backup gear is physically in the room at every single event. A failed speaker, mixer or laptop means a pause of a minute or two, not a dead reception. This is a House Rule, not a best effort.

Do you speak Spanish at events?

Yes. Announcements, introductions and the run of show can be delivered in English, Spanish, or both, at whatever ratio your families need. This gets decided in the planning call, not improvised on the night.

Is the price different for a Saturday in peak season?

No. The price on this page is the price for any date we are available, peak Saturday or not. Demand affects whether a date is open, not what it costs.

Corporate

Tell us the scope.

Holiday parties, galas, conference receptions, activations and brand events. There is no package price because the scope moves, but the rules do not: you get one fixed all-in number, and it is the number you pay.

  • One quote, all in, including travel and setup
  • One person on the decks and the mic, English and Spanish
  • Certificate of liability insurance for your venue
  • W-9 and invoicing on your terms, not a deposit link

You get a fixed number back, not a range.

Start with the date.

Everything else follows from whether it is open. You get an answer and a number, from a person, without a sales call in between.
